I bought this after losing the mini memory card from my last MiniSD purchase. This one is exactly what I was expecting, and, unlike the last, the mini card comes out of the regular memory card without industrial tweezers (the last was remarkably difficult to extracate).

So far this item works as expected. I have used it on a Windows XP machine as well as a Windows Vista machine. No problems extracting the SD card from the reader, end caps on each end are a nice touch to keep dust/dirt out of the connectors.

This device works great for managing SD card files on a computer without a built in reader. Very useful for transferring Garmin GPS maps to an SD card.

It totally works with all of my old and new SD cards. Make sure that if you are using a mini-SD or micro-SD, you have the adapter card.
